The Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference, as a precursor to the India AI Summit 2026, marked a significant milestone in the state’s digital transformation journey, reinforcing Rajasthan’s position as an emerging hub for AI-led innovation and governance. As India advances toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Artificial Intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept but a strategic enabler of inclusive growth, administrative efficiency, and economic competitiveness. Aligned with the national roadmap under the IndiaAI Mission of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the conference brought together national and state leaders, industry, academia, and innovators to accelerate responsible AI adoption.
At the state level, Rajasthan unveiled the Rajasthan AI/ML Policy 2026, a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen governance, accelerate economic growth, foster research and innovation, and generate high-value employment. The policy reflects a balanced approach—encouraging innovation while embedding accountability, transparency, and trust.
A key highlight was the launch of YUVA AI for All – National AI Literacy Program, a flagship initiative of the Government of India under the IndiaAI Mission. Anchored around National Youth Day (12 January), the campaign aims to mobilize lakhs of students and youth to complete a short, self- paced Foundational AI (AI 101) course. The initiative seeks to democratize AI awareness, creating a nationwide movement for foundational AI literacy and ensuring that young citizens are equipped to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
Skill development and entrepreneurship formed a central pillar of the conference. The launch of the iStart Learning Management System (LMS) will support AI skilling, startup incubation, and innovation across the state, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Complementing this was the introduction of the Rajasthan AVGC-XR Portal, aimed at strengthening the Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality ecosystem. With AI increasingly powering creative industries, Rajasthan is positioning itself at the intersection of technology and digital content innovation.

Thematic sessions explored AI applications across governance, infrastructure, innovation, ethics, and employment, reinforcing the need for citizen-centric outcomes.
