Sudhir Singh Appointed Director (Projects) of IRCON International

Key leadership appointment to strengthen project execution at railway PSU


State-owned infrastructure company IRCON International Ltd has appointed Sudhir Singh as its Director (Projects), the company announced on Friday.

IRCON, which operates under the Ministry of Railways, is engaged in the construction of major railway, highway and infrastructure projects in India and abroad. As Director (Projects), Singh will be responsible for overseeing planning, execution and monitoring of the company’s large and complex project portfolio.

Officials said the appointment comes at a time when IRCON is handling multiple infrastructure assignments, including rail line construction, electrification, metro projects and overseas works. Strengthening leadership at the project execution level is expected to support timely delivery and operational efficiency.

An official familiar with the development said, “With his experience, Sudhir Singh is expected to contribute to improving coordination, execution quality and adherence to timelines across IRCON’s projects.”


Singh will assume charge shortly and will play a key role in driving IRCON’s ongoing and upcoming infrastructure programmes in India and international markets.
