Government of Kerala

The Government of Kerala has unveiled the “Nammude Keralam–Digital Kerala Initiative”, a comprehensive strategy designed to overcome longstanding challenges in digital governance and deliver public services that are efficient, transparent, and accessible to all. This pioneering initiative was presented in a preliminary review chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

At its core, the initiative introduces a unified registry to streamline various social security schemes and curb benefit duplication. Alongside, a real-time grievance tracking mechanism is being developed to ensure swift resolution of citizen concerns. Integrated service platforms will bridge departmental silos hindered by poor data exchange, enabling seamless inter-departmental cooperation.

The programme is structured around four thematic pillars to reinvigorate Kerala’s digital roadmap:

  • Sevana Keralam consolidates government services onto a single digital platform for easier access.

  • Bhavi Keralam integrates Artificial Intelligence and next-generation technologies into public service delivery.

  • Sadbharana Keralam champions transparency and digital good governance within the state machinery.

  • Jana Keralam drives public awareness through mass campaigns on online safety and digital literacy.
