Sangram Kumar Mishra Recommended as CMD of Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited by PESB

Sangram Kumar Mishra is set to become the next Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Fertilisers. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel recommended his name for the top post during its meeting held on July 16. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Engineers India Limited (EIL), Mishra was selected from among seven candidates interviewed by the PESB.

The selection pool included three candidates from the Steel Authority of India (SAIL) and one each from EIL, HOCL, RINL, and HPCL. As CMD, Mishra will serve as the Chief Executive of HOCL and will be responsible to the Board of Directors and the Government. His role will include ensuring the efficient functioning of the corporation and driving the achievement of its corporate goals and performance benchmarks.
