
In a latest bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
Avinash Singh (2009 batch promotee IAS) has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Technical Education Department, while continuing with his existing responsibilities. Singh will now focus on strengthening the state’s technical education framework and ensuring the smooth rollout of upcoming initiatives designed to boost skills training and education infrastructure.
Dinesh Kumar (2012 batch IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Home Department. He will now be tasked with overseeing security frameworks, maintaining law and order, and managing internal administrative affairs crucial to the functioning of the department.
Brijraj Singh Yadav (2012 batch promotee IAS) takes on the role of Additional Land Arrangements Commissioner, Revenue Council, Lucknow. His new mandate includes managing land acquisition matters, resolving revenue-related disputes, and reviewing key land administration protocols—critical functions for infrastructure and development projects.

Vinod Kumar has been posted as the new Municipal Commissioner of Aligarh. He will oversee the city’s urban management and ensure the efficient delivery of municipal services, playing a central role in strengthening civic administration.

Prem Prakash Meena (2018 batch IAS), who previously served as Chief Development Officer, Unnao, has also been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Aligarh. With hands-on experience in both rural and urban sectors, Meena’s appointment is expected to enhance governance in areas such as sanitation, civic infrastructure, and public service delivery.

Krati Raj (2020 batch IAS) has been transferred from the role of Joint Magistrate, Firozabad to become the Chief Development Officer of Unnao. His responsibilities will span rural development, the execution of welfare schemes, and the implementation of governance reforms at the district level.
