In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government has issued transfer orders for six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, marking key changes in administrative leadership across the state. The move, announced via an official notification on Monday, comes in the wake of mounting civic concerns in Gurugram and the launch of a major welfare initiative for senior artists.
Key Administrative Changes Across Departments
Amneet P Kumar has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner and Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department, Haryana, while continuing her responsibilities in the Departments of Future, Fisheries, and Archives. She replaces Shyamal Misra, who has been relieved of the aviation portfolio.
Ashok Kumar Garg, the outgoing District Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram, has been appointed Commissioner of Hisar Division, replacing A Sreenivas. His transfer follows widespread criticism of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) over persistent civic issues.

Dhirendra Khadgata, previously the Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, will now serve as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF), while retaining his post as Special Secretary in the Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department. He takes over from A Mona Sreenivas.

Dharmender Singh has been posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, replacing Khadgata. Singh will also serve as Special Secretary in the Cooperation Department.
