1 IAS & 6 PCS transferred in Uttar Pradesh, Navneet Sehra appointed Chief Development Officer Siddharthnagar

The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred one IAS and six PCS officers, introducing key changes in administrative and academic roles across the state. The move includes appointments of registrars in two major universities and postings in crucial district-level positions.


Navneet Sehra, a 2020-batch IAS officer who served as Joint Managing Director of the Cooperative Sugar Mills Association and Additional Commissioner, Excise, has been appointed Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Siddharthnagar.

Among PCS officers, Amit Kumar Rathore-III, who held the post of Chief Revenue Officer in Gorakhpur, has been appointed Registrar of Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur. Ajay Mishra, SDM Moradabad, has been named Registrar of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.

Other transfers include Vikas Kashyap, City Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar, who will now serve as Additional District Magistrate (City), Ghaziabad. Pankaj Prakash Rathore, SDM Meerut, has been posted as City Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar.


Himanshu Kumar Gupta, Deputy Housing Commissioner at the Housing Development Council, Lucknow, has been assigned the role of Principal Manager at UP Cooperative Sugar Mills Association, Lucknow.

Udit Narayan Sengar, SDM Unnao, has been transferred to SDM Meerut.


These administrative changes are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve governance, streamline university operations, and strengthen regional administration.
