According to the official notification, 2009 batch IAS officer Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, currently serving as Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA), has been appointed as the new Sugarcane Commissioner. He replaces 2007-batch IAS officer Prabhu Narain (PN) Singh, who has been placed on the waiting list.
