
The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred nine IAS officers and three IPS officers, impacting key administrative and policing roles across the state. The changes, announced through an order by the General Administration Department, reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and reinforce administrative efficiency across districts and departments.
Among the most notable changes in the IAS cadre, 2012 batch officer Neeraj Kumar Singh has been removed as Collector of Ujjain and appointed as Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Bhopal. His position will now be taken over by 2015 batch officer Roshan Singh, previously the Collector of Vidisha.
Key IAS transfers include:

- Aditya Singh (2014 batch) has been transferred from Harda to become the new Collector of Ashoknagar.
- Subhash Kumar Dwivedi (2012 batch), outgoing Collector of Ashoknagar, will serve as Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department.
- Siddharth Jain (2018 batch), previously Additional Collector of Bhopal, is the new Collector of Harda.
- Anshul Gupta (2016 batch), earlier serving as Director of the Public Relations Department and Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam, has been appointed as the new Collector of Vidisha.
- Jyoti Sharma (2018 batch), Additional Collector of Indore, is now Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Dewas.
- Himanshu Prajapati (2018 batch), CEO of Dewas District Panchayat, has been moved to Indore as Executive Director of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation.
Additional responsibilities have also been assigned:

- Gulshan Bamra, Principal Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department, will also serve as Chief Office Officer at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Institute, Bhopal.
- Ashish Singh, Collector of Indore, will additionally serve as Mela Officer for the upcoming Simhastha Fair in Ujjain.
- Rishi Garg, Member Secretary of the State Planning Commission and Economic and Statistics Commissioner, has been given additional charge as Director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute.

In the IPS cadre, three promotee officers have been reassigned as part of administrative changes:
- Prakash Chandra Parihar has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Urban Police, Indore.
- Awadhesh Pratap Singh will take charge as Commandant, 36th Battalion, Special Armed Force, Balaghat.
- Rajendra Kumar Verma has been posted as Superintendent of Police at the Police Training College (PTC), Indore.
These transfers underline the state’s commitment to dynamic governance and robust institutional leadership across both civil and police administrations.
