
In a major development, 23 officers of the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DANICS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre. The promotions have been made against vacancies that arose between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2024, filling long-pending positions and strengthening administrative leadership in various Union Territories.
