New Delhi: The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) has announced the results of its Biennial Elections for the 2025-27 term. The results were declared by SCOPE Director General and Returning Officer, Atul Sobti, in the presence of representatives from member Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). The newly elected SCOPE Executive Board will officially assume office on April 1, 2025.

In the recently concluded elections, KP Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NBCC (India) Limited, has been elected as the Chairman of SCOPE. Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, CMD of Goa Shipyard Limited, has been elected as the Vice Chairman of the apex body representing PSEs in India.

Following the declaration of results, Atul Sobti emphasized the strong participation of member PSEs in the election process, highlighting their continued trust in SCOPE’s leadership and initiatives. He noted that the engagement of PSEs underscores the organization’s role in driving policy advocacy and strategic development for India’s public sector enterprises.

The newly elected leadership is expected to steer SCOPE toward further strengthening the role of PSEs in national development. With a vision of enhancing collaboration, innovation, and governance among public enterprises, the new Executive Board aims to implement progressive initiatives that align with the evolving needs of India’s economy and industry.
