8 IPS transferred in Telangana, P Vishwa Prasad appointed Additional CP Crimes

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Telangana government has transferred eight IPS officers to new postings.


According to an official notification, P. Vishwa Prasad (2005-batch IPS officer) has been appointed as Additional CP Crimes, while B. Naveen Kumar (2008-batch IPS officer) has taken charge as SP CID. Gajurao Bhupal (2008-batch IPS officer) has been posted as Joint CP Traffic Cyberabad, and D. Joel Davis (2010-batch IPS officer) has been appointed as Joint CP Hyderabad.

Other key appointments include Sirisetti Sankeerth (2020-batch IPS officer) as ADC to the Governor, B. Ram Reddy (IPS) as SP CID, Ch. Sridhar (2006-batch IPS officer) as SP Intelligence, and S. Chaitanya Kumar (2015-batch IPS officer) as DCP SB Hyderabad.
