REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power and a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC), announced significant achievements in loan disbursements for the third quarter of FY25. The company reported disbursing ₹54,692 crore in loans, marking a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 17.98%. Renewable energy loans witnessed an impressive 58.09% growth, reaching ₹6,314 crore during the same period.

For the nine months of FY25 (April to December 2024), REC disbursed a total of ₹1,45,647 crore in loans, reflecting a 19.30% growth compared to ₹1,22,089 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. Renewable energy loans for this period stood at ₹17,612 crore, up by a remarkable 78.68% YoY, emphasizing REC’s commitment to driving sustainable energy solutions.
