In a significant administrative move, the Punjab Government has announced the immediate transfer and posting of 10 IAS and 22 PCS officers. The reshuffle, effective immediately, aims to streamline governance and optimise departmental leadership.
Among the prominent appointments, Vikas Pratap, additional chief secretary-cum-financial commissioner, excise, has been given additional charge as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Governance Reforms and Public Grievances, replacing Sarvjit Singh.

- Alok Shekhar (1994 batch): Assigned as Additional Chief Secretary for Jails, Justice, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, and Cooperation.
- Ajay Kumar Sinha (1996 batch): Designated as Principal Secretary for Finance, Power, New & Renewable Energy, and Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd.
- Kumar Rahul (2000 batch): Appointed as Administrative Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, and Medical Education & Research.
- Priyank Bharti (2001 batch): Assigned as Administrative Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment, and Forests & Wildlife Preservation.
