In a major administrative reshuffle ahead of the Diwali festival, the State government has transferred 13 IAS officers, four IFS officers, and 70 Special Grade Deputy Collectors and Deputy Collectors.
Among the key changes, IAS officer Narayana Reddy (2015 batch) has moved from Collector of Nalgonda to Collector of Rangareddy, while IAS officer K Shashanka (2013 batch) will now serve as the Collector of Nalgonda. The role of Nalgonda Collector will be assumed by 2017 batch IAS officer Ila Tripathi, previously the Director of Tourism. Meanwhile, M Hanumantha Rao (2013 batch), who served as Special Commissioner in the I&PR Department, will take over as Collector of Yadadri Bhongir.
Dr. TK Sreedevi (2004 batch), currently the Commissioner of SCD, will now lead as Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, relieving VP Gautham from his additional charge. Manda Makarandu, previously Municipal Commissioner in Nizamabad, has been appointed as Project Director for the CMRO Project at CCLA in Hyderabad.
Other prominent transfers include Zendage Hanumant Kondiba as Director of Tourism and K Shashanka as Commissioner of State Flagship Projects. S Harish, Joint Secretary to the Government in the Revenue (DM) Department, has been reassigned as Special Commissioner in I&PR with additional responsibilities as Joint Secretary to the Revenue Department. Additionally, Aisha Masrat Khanam has been appointed Joint Secretary in the HM & FW Department, T Vinay Krishna Reddy has taken on the role of Commissioner of R&R and LA in the I&CAD Department, and Nikhil Chakravarthi has been given full additional charge as Additional Commissioner, CT.
Within the IFS cadre, N Kshitija has transitioned from Chief Conservator of Forests to Managing Director of the Scheduled Castes Development Corporation, while VVL Subhadra Devi will now serve as Additional Commissioner (Urban Forestry) with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The government also issued Government Order Ms 392, formalizing the transfer of 70 Special Grade Deputy Collectors and Deputy Collectors, directing officers L Ramesh, N Anand Kumar, and V Hanuma Naik to report to the Revenue Department for further assignments.
