21 IAS transferred in Nagaland, Sanjay Kumar made Director General ATI

The Government of Nagaland has conducted a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 21 IAS officers and an equal number of Nagaland Civil Service (NCS) officers. As per a notification by the DoPT, these officers will assume their new postings by July 29th.

  1. Sanjay Kumar (1992-batch IAS), returning from central deputation, has been posted as Director General—ATI.
  2. R Ramakrishnan (1998-batch IAS), currently Development Commissioner & Principal Secretary to CM, now holds additional charge of Principal Secretary – Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department.
  3. E Mhonbemo Patton (IA&AS), currently Principal Secretary – Public Health Engineering (PHE), now holds additional charge of Principal Secretary – Environment, Forests & Climate Change (EF&CC).
  4. Y Kikheto Sema (2011-batch IAS), Commissioner and Secretary of EF&CC, is now Commissioner and Secretary of Law and Justice and Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
  5. Vyasan R (2007-batch IAS), CEO of Nagaland and Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), will assume additional charge as Home Commissioner after being relieved of APC duties.
  6. Anoop Khinchi (2008-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary in the P&AR and Law & Justice Departments, is relieved of Law & Justice duties.
  7. Sushil Kumar Patel (2009-batch IAS), Commissioner – Nagaland and Commissioner & Secretary – Soil & Water Conservation, is relieved of Commissioner duties.
  8. Vikeyie Kenya (2019-batch IAS), currently Home Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary – AH&VS, is relieved of Home Commissioner duties.
  9. Kenilo Apon (2019-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary – Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, is now Commissioner & Secretary – DUDA.
  10. K S Anden Konyak (2020-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary – DUDA, is now Commissioner – Nagaland.
  11. Wezope Kenye (2020-batch IAS), currently Commissioner & Secretary – Youth Resources & Sports (YRS) and Parliamentary Affairs, is now Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) and Commissioner & Secretary – Agriculture.
  12. Mohammed Ali Shihab (2011-batch IAS), currently Commissioner & Secretary—IT&C and Economics & Statistics, has been relieved of Economics & Statistics duties.
  13. Rajesh S (2011-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary to Governor and Commissioner & Secretary of Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Higher & Technical Education, has been relieved of these duties.
  14. Temsunaro Aier (2022-batch IAS), currently Managing Director—Samagra, is now Commissioner & Secretary—Information and Public Relations and continues as Managing Director.
  15. Athel O Lotha (2020-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary of Art & Culture, will assume the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary of Excise.
  16. Zasekuolie Chusi (2019-batch IAS), Commissioner & Secretary of Transport and Director, Census Operations, is now Commissioner & Secretary – Land Revenue and continues as Director, Census Operations.
  17. Sotsula (2022-batch IAS), Secretary – Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, is now Secretary – Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
  18. Shanavas C (2012-batch IAS), Secretary in the Agriculture Department and Principal Director (PD), ELEMENT & FOCUS, IFAD, is now Secretary of Industries and Commerce and continues as PD—ELEMENT & FOCUS, IFAD.
  19. G Hukugha Sema (IRS), currently Commissioner & Secretary – Planning & Transformation, is now Officer-On-Special-Duty (OSD) – Health & Family Welfare (H&FW).
  20. Abhinav Shivam (2016-batch IAS), Deputy Commissioner Chumoukedima, is now Commissioner of Taxes.
  21. Shashank Pratap Singh (2016-batch IAS), currently the Director of Minority Affairs, will be the additional secretary of the Nagaland State Human Rights Commission.
  22. Vineet Kumar (2017-batch IAS), Deputy Commissioner Peren, is now Deputy Commissioner – Wokha.
  23. Dharam Raj (2017-batch IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Longleng, is now Joint Secretary – Works & Housing and Chief Minister’s Office.
