Vikas Singh re-designated to Director Level post in Delhi Development Authority

Vikas Singh, an IAS officer of the 2010 batch from the Tripura cadre, has been promoted to director level at the Delhi Development Authority. Formerly serving as the Commissioner (Land Management) at the Deputy Secretary Level, Mr. Singh’s position has now been re-designated to the Commissioner (Land Management) at the Director level.


This development came into effect following an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) on Friday, April 26th. The proposal for this re-designation originated from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, signaling a strategic move within the administrative hierarchy.

Under this new designation, Mr. Singh will hold his position until April 27, 2026, thereby completing a tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme. Notably, he commenced his central deputation tenure on April 28, 2021, bringing his expertise to the forefront of urban development initiatives.
