Uttar Pradesh: B. Chandrakala reassigned to the role of Secretary in the Panchayati Raj Department

In a minor administrative rearrangement, the Uttar Pradesh Government has executed the transfer and posting of two IAS officers.

B. Chandrakala, a seasoned IAS officer from the 2008 batch, has been reassigned to the role of Secretary in the Panchayati Raj Department. Formerly holding positions as Secretary in the Agricultural Production Commissioner Branch and Additional Registrar in Banking Cooperative Societies, Chandrakala brings her expertise to the new role.

Simultaneously, Sukh Lal Bharti, also an IAS officer from the 2008 batch, has assumed the responsibilities of Secretary in the Rural Development Department. His prior role involved serving as Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.

Noteworthy in this bureaucratic maneuver is the atypical issuance of transfer orders. Typically orchestrated by the Department of Appointment & Personnel, Government of Uttar Pradesh, this time the orders were released by Manoj Singh, IAS officer and Agricultural Production Commissioner.
