Sunil Dahiya to become next Director (Projects) of Engineering Projects (India) Limited

In a significant development, Sunil Dahiya is set to take on the role of Director (Projects) at Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPIL), a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) operating under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel, in its recent meeting on Tuesday, recommended Dahiya for this position. Currently serving as the Senior General Manager of Engineers India Limited’s (EIL) HRRL Project in Barmer, Rajasthan, Dahiya’s nomination is a testament to his proven expertise and leadership in the field.

The PESB selection panel conducted interviews for eight candidates on January 16, ultimately selecting Dahiya for the crucial role of Director (Projects) at EPIL. The pool of candidates included five from EPIL, with one representative each from EIL, KIOCL, and Reliance Industries Limited.

In his forthcoming role, if confirmed, Dahiya will join the Board of Directors at EPIL, reporting directly to the Chairman and Managing Director. Tasked with overseeing project execution, he will play a pivotal role in advancing the government’s Atma Nirbhar Scheme by promoting indigenisation initiatives.
