Waaree Energies joins hands with IRCON Renewable Power to deliver 200 MW Solar Modules

In a significant development, Waaree Energies Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with IRCON Renewable Power Limited to provide an impressive 200 MW of solar PV modules, fully compliant with domestic content requirements.

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has recently granted a prestigious 500 MW grid-connected solar PV project to IRCON Renewable Power Limited, a subsidiary of IRCON International Limited. Waaree Energies Limited, renowned for its vast experience and a remarkable 12 GW installed capacity, will supply the solar PV modules for deployment by IRCON in Pavagada, Karnataka.

Waaree Energies Limited, a flagship company of the esteemed Waaree Group, stands as the largest solar module manufacturer in India. Boasting four state-of-the-art solar module production facilities, the company has a presence in over 388 locations across the nation and 20 international destinations.

This collaboration follows Waaree Energies Limited‘s recent partnership with NTPC Limited in November 2023, where they supplied more than 135 MW of solar modules for a prominent solar project located in Anta, Baran district of Rajasthan. Furthermore, in October 2023, the company secured a notable contract from ENGIE India, providing 200 MW of solar modules for a solar power project situated in Sayla village within the Surendra Nagar district of Gujarat.
