Pramod Sharma appointed as Director (Works) for NHSRCL High-Speed Rail Projects

In a recent development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has given its nod for the appointment of Pramod Sharma as the Director (Works) for the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). NHSRCL, established in 2016, is entrusted with overseeing high-speed rail projects across India and operates as a subsidiary of the Ministry of Railways, Indian Railways.


According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Pramod Sharma, an experienced Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) officer from the 1989 batch, will assume the position on a deputation basis. He will hold this post until he reaches the age of 60 or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. Currently, Sharma serves as the Principal Executive Director (Contract) of NHRSCL.
