The Gujarat government has recently transferred three prominent Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state. Videh Khare, the Mission Director of Gujarat State Electronics Mission from the 2018 batch, has been appointed as the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Surat Municipal Corporation.
Simultaneously, KS Vasava, previously serving as the Joint Secretary of the Sports Youth & Cultural Activities Department from the 2013 batch, has been reassigned to the position of Managing Director at Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL).
Notably, Yogesh Chaudhary, the Managing Director of DGVCL and a 2016 batch officer, has been relocated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA). Chaudhary currently holds the additional charge of SUDA, emphasizing the strategic importance of this appointment in the region.
