Major Rejig in Gujarat’s Police Lineup, 57 IPS & SPS Officers Shifted

The Government of Gujarat, April 2, 2022, issued orders to move a major bureaucratic reshuffle. Amidst this, 57 IPS and SPS officers have been assigned new posts with immediate effect.

1. Vidhi Chaudhary (IPS 2009-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Office of Director of Prosecution, Gandhinagar.
2. Vishalkumar Baldevbhai Vaghela (IPS 2009-Batch) has been transferred and given the post of Superintendent of Police (SP), Sabarkantha.
3. Jaipalsingh Rathore (IPS 2010-Batch) will be assuming the post of SP, Rajkot (Rural).
4. Dr. Leena Madhavrao Patil (IPS 2010-Batch) has been made SP, Bharuch
5. Sweta Shrimali (IPS 2010-Batch) will take over the post of SP, Western Railway, Ahmedabad.
6. Nirlipt Rai (IPS 2010-Batch) gets the charge of SP, State Monitoring Cell, Gandhinagar.
7. Deepak Meghani (IPS 2010-Batch) has been transferred and given the charge of ADC to H.E. the Governor of Gujarat.
8. Mahendra Bagaria (IPS 2010-Batch) has been assigned the charge of SP, Kutch (East), Gandhidham.
9. Sunil Joshi (IPS 2010-Batch) transferred and given the charge of SP, Operations, Ahmedabad.
10. Hiteshkumar Hansraj Joysar (IPS 2011-Batch) has been assigned the post of SP, Surat (Rural).
11. Tarun Kumar Duggal (IPS 2011-Batch) will take over the charge of SP, Gandhinagar.
12. R V Chudasama (IPS 2011-Batch) has been assigned the post of SP, Bharuch.
13. R T Susara (IPS 2011-Batch) has been transferred and assigned the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Surat.
14. Sujata Mazmudar (IPS 2011-Batch) has been made Deputy Director, State Police Academy, Karai, Gandhinagar.
15. Dr Sudhirkumar J. Desai (IPS 2012-Batch) has been given the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2, Rajkot.
16. Balram Meena (IPS 2012-Batch) has been made SP, Dahod.
17. Dr Karanraj Vaghela (IPS 2012-Batch) will be taking over the post of SP, Botad.
18. Himkar Singh (IPS 2013-Batch) gets the post of SP, Amreli.
19. Rahul Tripathi (IPS 2013-Batch) has been named SP, Morbi.
20. Rohan Anand (IPS 2013-Batch) has been transferred and given the charge of SP, Vadodara (Rural).
21. Yashpal Dhirajbhai Jaganiya (IPS 2013-Batch) will assume the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-3, Vadodara.
22. M J Chavda (IPS 2013-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as SP (Intelligence), Gandhinagar.
23. Usha B Rada (IPS 2013-Batch) has been shifted and assigned the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Surat.
24. Dr Parthrajsinh Navalsinh Gohil (IPS 2014-Batch) has been moved to Rajkot as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).
25. Mayur Patil (IPS 2014-Batch) gets the charge of SP (DCI) IB, Gandhinagar Region.
26. Akshayraj Makwana (IPS 2014-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as SP, Banaskantha.
27. S R Odedara (IPS 2014-Batch) will take over the charge of SP, CRime Investigation Department CID (Crime), Gandhinagar.
28. Achal Tyagi (IPS 2015-Batch) gets the post of SP, Mehsana.
29. Prashant Appasaheb Sumbe (IPS 2015-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as SP, Narmada.
30. Premsukh Delu (IPS 2016-Batch) has been made SP, Jamnagar.
31. Dr Ravindra Patel (IPS 2016-Batch) will assume the charge of SP, Bhavnagar.
32. Shaifali Barwal (IPS 2016-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale in the Scale and appointed as SP, State Traffic Branch-1, Gandhinagar.
33. Nitesh Pandey (IPS 2017-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale and appointed to the post of SP, Devbhumi Dwarka.
34. Dr Lavina Varesh Sinha (IPS 2017-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale and appointed on the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-1, Ahmedabad City.
35. Sagar Bagmar (IPS 2017-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-3, Surat City.
36. Abhay Soni (IPS 2017-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale and assigned the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2, Vadodara City.
37. Sushil Ravindra Agrawal (IPS 2017-Batch) has been promoted to Senior Time Scale and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-3, Ahmedabad City.
38. Manoharsinh Jadeja (SPS) has been shifted and given the post of SP, Gir-Somnath.
39. Tejas Patel (SPS) will take over the charge of Superintendent, Central Jail, Ahmedabad.
40. Rahul Patel (SPS) has been given the post of SP, Tapi.
41. Jaydeepsinh Jadeja (SPS) has been transferred and assigned the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2, Ahmedabad City.
42. Andrews Mackwan (SPS) will take over the post of Commandant, State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), Group18, Kevadia Colony.
43. Himanshu Solanki (SPS) has been transferred and appointed as SP, Panchmahal.
44. Vijay Patel (SPS) gets the post of SP, Patan.
45. Bhagirathsinh Jadeja (SPS) has been named Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-7, Ahmedabad City.
46. Rajesh Gadhiya (SPS) has been transferred and appointed as SP, Kheda.
47. Panna Momaya (SPS) will assume the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-4, Vadodara City.
48. Mukesh Patel (SPS) has been made Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-4, Ahmedabad City.
49. Umesh Patel (SPS) will take over as SP (Intelligence), Vadodara.
50. Haresh Dudhat (SPS) has been made SP, Surendranagar.
51. Harshad Mehta (SPS) will assume the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-4, Surat City.
52. Jayrajsinh Vala (SPS) has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (SOG), Ahmedabad City.

     

53. Yuvrajsinh Jadeja (SPS) has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Vadodara city.
54. Baldev Desai (SPS) has been assigned the post of transferred and appointed to the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-5, Ahmedabad City.
55. Lakhdhirsinh Zala (SPS) will take over as SP (Intelligence) Gandhinagar.
56. Nareshkumar Kanzariya (SPS) has been transferred and appointed as SP (Intelligence) Bhuj.
57. Hetal Patel (SPS) will take over the post of Commandant, SRPF, Group-11, Vav, Surat.
