Maharashtra Govt transfers 3 IAS officers amid a minor administrative rejig

The Government of Maharashtra, on July 23, issued orders to transfer and post three IAS across the state.


1. Arvind Kumar, serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Co-operation has been transferred and posted as ACS, Social Justice.

2. Anoop Kumar has been assigned the post of Principal Secretary (PS), Cooperation and Marketing. Kumar is currently posted as PS, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.

3. J P Gupta who is presently holding the charge of PS, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Bahujan Welfare has now been appointed as PS, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.
