In a recent order, the Government of Assam cleared the appointment of Deba Kumar Mishra (ACS 1993-Batch) as Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma. Prior to the new appointment, Mishra was serving as Joint Secretary, Tourism Department. Also, he held the charge of Managing Director of Assam Tourism Development Corporation.
