Amidst a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Assam, the state government released orders for the transfer of 38 IPS & APS officers recently. Among the 38 IPS and (Assam Police Service) APS officers, the government appointed new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in 31 districts of Assam.

1. Kangkan Jyoti Saikia (IPS-SPS 2008-Batch) has been posted in Police Headquarters in Assam.
2. Amanjeet Kaur (IPS 2009-Batch) has been posted as Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG), Administration, Guwahati.
3. Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant (IPS 2009-Batch) has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Cachar district.
4. Shiladitya Chetia (IPS 2009-Batch) has been posted as SP, Sonitpur district.
5. Rakesh Raushan (IPS 2010-Batch) has been posted as SP, Sibsagar district.
6. Anand Mishra (IPS 2011-Batch) has been posted as SP, Nagaon district.
7. Ankur Jain (IPS 2011-Batch) has been posted as SP, Jorhat district.
8. Gaurav Upadhyay (IPS 2012-Batch) has been posted as SP, Chirang district.
9. Prateek Vijaykumar (IPS 2013-Batch) has been posted as SP, Kokrajhar district.
10. Ramandeep Kaur (IPS 2013-Batch) has been posted as SP, Hailakandi district.
11. Dr Robin Kumar (IPS 2013-Batch) has been posted as SP, Golaghat district.
12. Bhanwar Lal Meena (IPS 2013-Batch) has been posted as SP, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Guwahati district.
13. Pushpraj Singh (IPS 2014-Batch) has been posted as SP, Karbi-Anglong.
14. Gaurav Abhijit Dilip (IPS 2014-Batch) has been posted as SP, Dhubri district.
15. Aparna N (IPS 2014- Batch) has been posted as SP, Morigaon district.
16. Barun Purkayastha (IPS 2015-Batch) has been posted as SP, Hojal district.
17. Shwetank Mishra (IPS 2015-Batch) has been posted as SP, Dibrugarh district.
18. Subhrajyoti Bora (IPS 2016-Batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), East, Guwahati district.
19. Mohan Lal Meena (IPS 2016-Batch) has been posted as DCP, Crime, Guwahati district.
20. Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted in Police Headquarters in Assam.
21. Dr Bedanta Madhab Rajkhowa has been posted as SP, Lakimpur district.
22. Debojit Deuri (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted as SP, Tinsukia district.
23. Gautam Boarah (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted as SP, Majuli district.
24. Manabendra Dev Rey (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted as Commandant, 10th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara, Guwahati.
25. Rajen Singh (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted as SP, Baksa district.
26. Sudhakar Singh (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted as SP, Charideo district.
27. Longnit Terang (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as AIG, Law and Order, Guwahati district.
28. Swapnaneel Deka (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, Bongaigaon district.
29. Subodh Kumar Sonowal (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, South Salmara district.
30. Mrinal Talukdar (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted in 7th Assam Police Battalion, Charaikohal, Kokrajhar.
31. Amitava Sinha (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, Barpeta district.
32. Hiranya Barman (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, Udalguri district.
33. Sushant Biswa Sarma (APS 2002-Batch) has been posted as SP, Darrnag district.
34. Ripul Das (APS 2002-Batch) has been posted as SP, Hiswanath district.
35. Ajagwran Basumatary (APS 2002-Batch) has been posted as SP, Hamren district.
36. Dr Nanda Singh (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, Morigaon district.
37. Pabindra Kumar Nath (APS 1997-Batch) has been posted as SP, Nalbari district.
38. Amrit Bhuyan (APS 1995-Batch) has been posted in Police Headquarters, Assam.
