Rajesh Kumar becomes new Chief Secretary of Manipur

As per an official order released by the Government of Manipur, Rajesh Kumar, a senior IAS officer of 1988-Batch has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Manipur. Prior to the latest orders, Kumar was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary.

With Kumar assuming the charge of Chief Secretary of Manipur, J Suresh Babu the outgoing Chief Secretary of the state has retired from the position, on August 28, on his scheduled superannuation from the government services.
