Punjab’s Administrative Rejig: 3 IAS Officers Reshuffled

The Government of Punjab, on September 2, issued orders to reshuffle the duties of three IAS officers in the state.

Alok Shekhar (1994-Batch IAS) has been made Principal Secretary, Investment Promotion. Shekhar will also hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Science Technology & Environment, Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Principal Secretary, Information Technology, and Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances.

Abhinav (2006-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Special Secretary, Agriculture with the additional charge of Managing Director, Punjab Alkalis and Chemicals Ltd.

Harish Nayar (2009-Batch IAS) has been posted as Director, Treasury and Accounts. Nayar has also been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Expenditure (Department of Finance).
