Ajit Pawar directs Mahagenco to implement solar projects of 602 MW capacity

Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Nitin Raut, Energy Minister, Government of Maharashtra, on July 16, issued directives to Maharashtra State Power Generation Corporation Limited (Mahagenco) for implementing solar projects of 602 MW capacity in three phases.


According to an official, the project will be implemented on the land owned by the state power generation company under Engineering Procuring Commissioning (EPC) contract.
