Capco, the global management and technology consultancy, has announced the appointment of Abhay Agarwal as Executive Director and Head of its Pune and Gurgaon operations. With over 20 years of technology leadership experience supporting financial services clients across multiple markets and regions, Abhay has the responsibility and day-to-day oversight of Capco’s team of 100+Pune-based consultants, as well as newly established Gurgaon operations.

Abhay joins from product engineering and digital technology solutions provider Infogain in Delhi. Prior to that role, he was a senior manager at Accenture for more than 15 years, where he worked with major financial services organizations from the US, UK, Canada and Europe. He holds a post-graduate degree in computers from Birla Institute of Applied Sciences.

“Abhay brings extensive experience in driving major change agendas and cross-functional initiatives within large organizations, including data strategy, IT transformation, product implementation and integration, re-platforming, and application modernization projects. His proven expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our operation in Pune and the roster of clients we support from that location”, said Hiri Kowshika, Partner and Head of India.
