Lucknow, the city of Nawabs has undergone several transformations over the years. Ranked first in the second phase of the list of Smart City in 2017, the city is progressing towards transforming from Art City to Smart City. With an aim to assess the progress of Lucknow as Smart City, and also to discuss, deliberate and explore the best practices, challenges and solutions across the India, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and Lucknow Smart City in association with Elets Technomedia are conducting Urban Innovation Summit, Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow on July 27, 2019.
The Summit will explore cutting-edge issues, strategic solutions, investment strategies and pertinent case studies in urban planning, infrastructure development, service delivery and implementation and development of smart cities.
Nand Gopal Nandi, Minister for Stamp and Civil Aviation, Government of Uttar Pradesh would be the Chief Guest of the Summit, which is mentored and chaired by Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor, Lucknow and Dr Indramani Tripathi, Municipal Commissioner, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and CEO, Lucknow Smart City Limited.
Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India would deliver the keynote address. The key theme of the Summit would be on the theme ‘Roadmap to Smart Uttar Pradesh: Urban Transformation through Smart Cities’.
The Summit would also see an array of panel discussions, special addresses and presentations by policy makers, urban developers and industry experts working towards Smart City and Urban Development sectors.
