MD Krishnamurthy is the new Chairman of Karnataka Urban Development Infrastructure Development Finance and Corporation (KUIDFC) while AB Ibrahim is the new Managing Director of the Corporation.

Krishnamurthy has succeeded Srivatsa Krishna, the outgoing officer who took charge as CEO, Coffee Board, Government of India while Ibrahim has succeeded V Ponnuraj, who was holding the additional charge.

Ponnuraj is Secretary, Department of Urban Development, Government of Karnataka.


An official order to this effect was made by the Government of Karnataka.

Another IAS officer, who has recently joined the KUIDFC as Joint Managing Director is  Tanushree Deb Barma.


The Government of Karnataka has strengthened the KUIDFC by inducting three IAS officers.

The State Government has recently roped in KUIDFC to help get finances from the Centre and state for the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). SPV will execute 65 km Peripheral Ring Road through SPV. The six-lane expressway will be a tolled road.
