Subhasish Gupta to lead Extreme Networks’

Subhasish Gupta has been appointed the Extreme Networks’ new country manager, the company said in an official statement.

Before joining Extreme Networks, Gupta was the country manager for India and SAARC region for Allied Telesis for a decade.
“I look forward to growing the region’s business across key vertical markets,” Gupta, who will head the Indian business of Extreme Networks and will be responsible for driving the next phase of growth for the networking vendor in India and SAARC region.
He will be based out of Bangalore.

“He is a hands on leader with extensive experience building a structured business and revenue models,” said Simon Naylor, vice president, APAC and Japan, Extreme Networks.

“A strong leader in the networking space, Subhasish is a great complement to our existing team.”

Talking on the new role at Extreme Networks, Gupta said: “I look forward to growing the region’s business across key vertical markets and further building a sustained and scalable business and revenue model in the region.”

Extreme Networks is  now making a further investment in the wireless market and current Extreme’s partners will be offered access to an expanded wireless portfolio.
