Loknath Behera takes over as new Kerala DGP

Cj3OcIyVAAAD-1LThe Kerala Police Department is headed for change with Loknath Behera, presently the director of fire and rescue service, becoming the DGP (law and order). 


Behera will be replacing T.P. Senkumar who has been moved to the position of police housing construction corporation MD.

In another important change of position in the police force, Jacob Thomas, who was vocal against alleged corruption by ministers in the previous United Democratic Front (UDF) Government, has been appointed as vigilance director. Thomas will stepping into the shoes of vigilance chief N. Shanker Reddy, who will be given a new position later.
