National Capital Territory Government Transport Secretary Parimal Rai, a 1985 batch IAS officer of Union Territory cadre, will take charge as Home Secretary of the Government of Delhi. He has been given the charge until Sanjeev Nandan Sahai, a 1986 batch IAS officer of the Union Territory cadre, returns in the month of November.
The post had been lying vacant, as no full-time appointment has been made to the post for long.
