The government has undertaken an initiative namely Digitise India Platform (DIP) – digitizeindia.gov.in – for large scale digitization of records in the country that would facilitate efficient delivery of services to the citizens.
“Register now as a Digital Contributor to do data entry jobs, earn rewards and redeem them for remuneration,” the official website says
Any Indian citizen who wishes to become a contributor can sign up with the platform.
“Your participation and contribution as a Digital Contributor will help the country to transform into a knowledge driven economy.”
The initiative aims to achieve the vision of Digital India, where every Indian is digitally empowered and every information is digitally available.
“Digitize India Platform offers an opportunity for government agencies to transform themselves into digital enterprises and for Digital Contributors, rewards for doing simple data entry jobs,” the website says.
