Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg supports Digital India

Mark-Zuckerberg-FB-620x400Expressing support to the ‘Digital India’ initiative, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg changed his profile picture to convey his appreciation for the Narendra Modi government’s efforts.


“I changed my profile picture to support Digital India, the Indian government’s effort to connect rural communities to the internet and give people access to more services online,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

He also asked his followers to support Digital India initiative.

The Prime Minister, while thanking Zuckerberg for the support, also changed his profile picture.


“Thanks Mark Zuckerberg for the support. I changed my DP in support of the efforts towards a Digital India,” the Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook account.
