The Rajasthan Government has appointed Lalit Kumar Panwar as the Chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). At present, he is Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism. Earlier, he was Special Secretary to the former Chief Minister of the State, Ashok Gehlot.
Panwar is a 1979 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre and also holds PhD in Tourism. He has also served as Director- Tourism and Secretary in-Charge in Rajasthan and the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) from 2010-2013.
