Road Transport and Highways Secretary Vijay Chhibber has been given additional charge as Chairman for the National Highways Authority of India ( NHAI). He is a 1978 batch IAS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre, and has been given the charge for a period of three months.
Vijay will take the charge with effect from the date of relinquishment of charge by Rajinder Pal Singh after the completion of his tenure. Rajinder is a 1976 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
