Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suggested an Aadhaar-based e-tracking of pension cases.
While discussing problems being faced by Defence pensioners in a recent video-conference, he emphasised on the need for using Aadhaar-based system solutions.

“The e-tracking of pension cases would be a good step to prevent delays,” Modi said. According to report, it was agreed that possibilities of the Online Tracking System for Pension Sanction and Payment (Bhavishya) being adopted by Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Defence, Department of Posts and Department of Telecommunications would be explored.
