5 Delhi Metro stations to get Wi-Fi facility

DELHI_METRODelhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed an agreement with the RailTel Corporation of India for facilitating Wi-Fi internet services at select stations on its network.


“5 stations have been selected to get the wifi service i.e. Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Kashmere Gate, Vishwavidyalaya and Hauz Khas,” according to a release.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding, the installation of the equipment is expected to be completed within the next seven months.
“Rail Tel shall conduct the necessary surveys, install equipments and carry out maintenance of the installed infrastructure,” according to the release.
