Delhi police reportedly is soon planning official launch of its app which registers FIRs online in motor vehicle theft cases.
The trial run of the app went smoothly. According to report, the system responded well and registered about 15 FIRs.
Delhi police is planning a grand event to officially launch the app.
The app allows online registration of FIRs in motor vehicle theft cases and furnishes an ‘Untraced Report’ duly accepted by relevant court. Delhi police is the first in the world to implement this provision.
