SP Yadav has been appointed as Nagpur Police Commissioner by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis.
Prior to it, Yadav, who is a Maharashtra cadre IPS officer of 1996 batch, was serving as the Additional Director General, CID, in Maharashtra. In Nagpur, he will be succeeding KK Pathak, an IPS officer of 1983 batch of the same cadre.
