Nilam Sawhney, a 1984 batch IAS Officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Secreatary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). She has been deputed in the rank of Additional Secretary. She will be replacing Alok Kumar, who has been posted as Additional Secretary in the NITI Aaoyog.
Sawhney has been appointed for a term of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post.
