Tarun Bajaj, a 1988 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office in Government of India. Along with him, Debashree Mukherjee holds the same post. She is a 1991 batch IAS officer of UT cadre. In addition to it, several other Departments have got new Joint Secretaries. Praveen Kumar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education. He is a 1987 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.
Further, Suresh Kumar has been assigned the role of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence in the Government of India. Kumar is a 1986 batch IAS officer of Jammu & Kashmir cadre. The Joint Secretary for the Department of Commerce is Krishna Kumar, a 1997 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre.
P K Sarangi has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development in the Government of India. He is a 1986 batch IAS officer of UP cadre. Land Resources’ Joint Secretary is Hukum Singh Meena, a 1992 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre.
