In yet another major reshuffle in the Government of India, eight IAS officers and one IP&TA&FS officer have been reshuffled laterally. Jalaj Shrivastava, who is currently the chairperson, NDMC is now appointed as Additional Secretary. Further, people with the same designation comprise Ajay Bhalla, Additional Secretary, Commerce. He was formerly the Additional Secretary, Coal. Amarjeet Sinha has been assigned the role of Additional Secretary, Rural Development. Currently, he is the Additional Secretary for the Department of Higher Education under the HRD Ministry.
Nutan Guha Biswas is appointed as the Additional Secretary, Women and Child Development. At present, she is Principal Secretary to LG in Delhi. Ashok MR Dalawai is appointed as the Additional Secretary for Agriculture and Cooperation. He is currently serving as DDG, UIDAI. Alok Kumar has also been appointed on the same post for NITI Aayog, who is currently working with CVC as Secretary.
Other reshufflings include the name of Ms Anuradha Mitra, who has been appointed as the Financial Advisor (Acquisition), Member (Defence Procurement Board) and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence. R Buhril is appointed as Advisor for Inter-State Council Secretariat. At present, he is Protector General of Emigrants in Ministry of Indian Overseas Affairs. Apart from it, Nilam Sawhney, who is serving in Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Secretary, CVC.
