Delhi schools to put up nursery admission criteria online

Nursery-Kids-1024x768The Delhi government’s directorate of education (DoE) has directed private schools to upload the criteria adopted for nursery admission for the academic year 2015-16,


According to a circular issued by Additional Director of Education Ashima Jain, all managers of private unaided recognised schools in Delhi have been directed to upload their criteria adopted (including points, if any) on departmental website (www.edudel.nic.in) by January 3.

Further more, the parents belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) now can easily put forth their grievances related to admission. The DoE in its circular has offered a link on which parents may file complaints related to the admission process in nursery classes.

“This should be on the Directorate of Education’s website www.edudel.nic.in at the link Grievances RTE Act-09. Written complaints can also be submitted to the respective District Deputy Directors of Education,” stated the circular.
