D J Pandian, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Mines, has been appointed as new Chief Secretary of Gujarat. He would replace Dr Varesh Sinha who is retiring on October 31, 2014. Pandian is a 1981 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre.
