Nilkanth S Avhad, who was put on compulsory wait in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Delhi for his balance period of central deputation till August 2015. He is a 1999 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre.
