A Lavasa is the new Secy, Ministry of Environment and Forests By Elets News Network 30-August-2014

Ashok Lavasa, currently serving as the Secretary in Civil Aviation, has been appointed as the Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, thus replacing V Rajagopalan, a 1978 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Lavasa is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre.
